Reservations and Cancellation Policy

On booking, 30% will be charged to your debit/credit card to secure your reservation. Additional services, e.g. flowers, champagne and chocolates, will be charged for upon booking.

If the reservation is cancelled less than 14 days before the arrival date, or in the case of a no show, the cost of the entire stay will be charged to the card.

Please note that upon making a reservation and paying the non-refundable deposit, a legally binding contract exists between us. You will remain liable for the full amount of the cost of your booking, even if you are unable to take your holiday. Even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation, if you cancel outside of the cancellation terms, you will still be liable to pay the full balance due.

If for some reason you do need to cancel your booking, it is important that you tell us at the first opportunity so that we may attempt to re-let the cottage and minimise your loss. In the event of an early departure, you will be liable for the full amount of the cost of your stay. In exceptional circumstances, this will be at the discretion of the owner.

Insurance

We strongly recommend you purchase cancellation insurance to protect you against possible loss.

Children

We welcome children and infants.

Groups

We do not accept stag, hen or group bookings.

Pets

We regret that we are unable to accept pets.

Non-availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your reservation if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will refund all monies paid by you for the reservation. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival

The cottage is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and we kindly ask that you check in before 10pm. Please note we are not on site permanently and therefore if you would please ring or text an hour prior to your arrival to arrange meeting at the cottage to receive the keys. 

Unregistered Guests

All guests are required to register on arrival. Maximum occupancy for the cottage is 4 people plus one infant. Please note that only guests listed on the confirmation of booking may occupy the accommodation. If any other people are found in occupation, then Corderry Farm will end the agreement and all persons in the accommodation will be asked to leave.

Departure

You are requested to check out of the cottage before 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We reserve the right to charge any guest who has not vacated the cottage by this time a subsequent night at the appropriate daily tariff. We are happy to safely store luggage if you plan a hike before you depart, however no re-entry to the cottage is permitted,

Guest responsibility

The guest is required at all times to keep the hired premises and BBQ area in a clean and tidy condition, to leave the hired premises and BBQ area in a clean and tidy condition on departure. To remove rubbish to allocated bins

Liability

The management will not accept responsibility for any valuables lost or mislaid. The free, off road, car parking spaces are for patron’s use, but we take no responsibility for any damages or losses incurred to vehicles in the car park, or property contained therein. You are reminded to take the usual precautions and not leave any valuables or other items on show in their vehicles. Our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and under no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.

Privacy Policy

Any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulations. Full details of our Privacy Policy can be found on our website here.

Damage and Breakages

We kindly ask you to report any damage to fixtures and fittings as soon as it occurs as this will help ensure that repairs, replacement or cleaning works are carried out immediately and may help reduce the risk of further damage. Whilst we understand that accidents happen, we do reserve the right to charge for any cleaning or replacement costs.

Smoking/Vaping

In compliance with legislation, it is illegal to smoke anywhere within the premises or grounds of Corderry Farm. We apply the same rules to vaping. Guests either found smoking/vaping within their rooms or remains of signs of smoking/vaping by leaning out of the windows will be asked to leave, with any accommodation monies already paid non-refundable. They will also be charged a fee of €300 to cover deep cleaning costs. We also reserve the right to charge for resetting the fire alarm, relocating guests, cleaning rooms and any other associated costs. For our guests’ convenience, there is a smoking/vaping area at the rear of the property. Guests are respectfully asked to remain in this area when smoking/vaping and that they carefully extinguish any cigarettes/cigars into the containers provided.

You may not bring any shotgun, knife, firearm, air weapon, fireworks (including sparklers), Chinese lanterns, illegal substances or similar item to the complex under any circumstances.

Use of Wi-Fi

The provision of Wi-Fi service (excluding some restricted sites) is provided free of charge. However, we ask that due care and consideration is given to the amount and time taken downloading data and that all sites visited are of legal status only. Any downloads will be the sole legal responsibility of the operator. For safety purposes laptops should be turned off when left unattended.

Hot Take Away Food

It is important that rooms and furnishings remain clean and fresh for the benefit of all guests. Therefore, the consumption of hot take away food is not permitted in the bedrooms. If we do discover evidence of hot take away food being eaten in the bedrooms, we will have no alternative but to charge you a deep cleanse charge.

Farm Buildings and Livestock

For safety reasons please note the farm yard, silage pit etc are strictly off limits. You are welcome to chat to the horses and cattle over the gate, however please do not enter the field where livestock are currently residing as they may contain young unpredictable animals.

River

The river is shallow in most places but please note there are deeper sections. Adult supervision is needed at all times when near the body of water.

Guest Loyalty Card

All guests receive a Guest Loyalty Card on their first visit to Corderry Farm, regardless of which booking platform they make their booking through. However, stamps are only given on subsequent stays booked directly with Corderry Farm. Stamps cannot be collected for subsequent bookings made via online travel agents.

The Loyalty card has no monetary value.

Guest Loyalty Program

Guests receive one stamp in their Guest Loyalty Card for each night they stay at Corderry Farm.

Once 14 stamps have been collected the named person on the card is entitled to one free night on their next stay. This free night can be added on to any stay of 7 nights or more, July and August, OR any stay of 3 nights or more, September to June 30th.

Free nights cannot be used in conjunction with special offers.

The loyalty card must be mentioned at the time of booking in order to claim the free night.

There is no time limit for collecting or redeeming stamps.
