Lazy Dog shooting grounds – Only 15 minutes from Corderry Farm
In a hidden gem of breathtaking scenery, lies the best Sporting Clay bird Ground in Munster. Clay bird shooting is where an individual shoots at special flying targets known as ‘clays ‘with a shotgun.
Clay bird shooting can be a hobby, a fun outing enjoyed with a few friends, Clay bird shooting is a safe and enjoyable sport for men and women of all ages. There is also an indoor and outdoor air rifle range.
Lazy Dog Clay bird Shooting Ground is situated in Ballinatober Woods, approximately 3 miles from the village of Ballylanders, Co. Limerick and 15 minute drive from Corderry Farm.

Ballyhoura bike trails – 25 minutes from Corderry Farm
Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails are the largest trail network of its kind in Ireland. 98km of trails including forest road climbs, tight twisty singletrack with loads of ups and downs, board walk, tight turns and technical rocky sections are guaranteed to leave you smiling.
The trails range from the moderate 6km Greenwood loop to the demanding Castlepook loop, over 50km in length! The loops between are Mountrussell 17km loop, Garrane 35km loop and Streamhill 41km loop.
Facilities at the trailhead include bike rental, map boards, car parking, toilets, showers and bike wash facilities. On arrival, there is a secure car park with monitored CCTV cameras.
Kayaking – Cahir – 30 minutes from Corderry Farm
Suir Valley Adventures offer Boat Trips and Kayaking on the River Suir in Co. Tipperary. Paddle through serene landscapes in ‘fionnuala’ a Celtic Longboat or try a Kayak. It is possible book a 2 hour class, half or full day’s activities. You will be guided safely through beautifully breath-taking scenery and get up close and personal with a wide variety of wildlife.
