Hello, we’re Ailish and John Ivory, your hosts here at the award-winning Corderry Farm, a place where Irish heritage, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality come together to offer aunique farm stay.

Set amidst 250 acres of rolling pastures in County Tipperary, Corderry Farm has been in our family since the 1700s. As the seventh generation to live and work on this land, we feel privileged to continue a legacy built on care, tradition, and a deep respect for nature. More than farmers, we see ourselves as stewards of both the land and its rich cultural history.

Corderry is a fully operational beef farm, and we’re proud to raise our animals as close to nature as possible. One of our proudest moments was being awarded “Best Fillet Steak in the World” a recognition of our commitment to quality, animal welfare, and sustainable farming practices.

With qualifications in agriculture and sustainable tourism, and Ailish’s background as a certified equestrian instructor and advocate of regenerative travel and the Leave No Trace principles, we are passionate about sharing the beauty of rural Ireland in a way that honours both people and place.

Our guests are invited to explore a landscape steeped in history and biodiversity  from forestry and rivers to archaeological treasures such as ancient dolmens, a famine cottage, a Cillín and a hidden mass rock. This is a place where the past is ever-present, and nature is at the heart of daily life.

Our three children – Ruairí, Órna, and Cádhla  are also involved in the running of the farm and are already showing the same love and respect for the land that has guided our family for generations.

At Corderry Farm, we hope to offer more than just a place to stay. We invite you to experience the rhythms of rural Ireland, to slow down, connect, and discover the magic of a place that feels both timeless and deeply alive.
